My computer had to be wiped & re-loaded a few weeks back & I'm still putting stuff back in.

I have said several times that I intend to stop doing 3D artwork because I can draw & color without them. That being said, I have dwindled away my ability to draw by not using it. I plan on trying to develop my own new style (combined with what's left of my old style anyway).

I will start taking down 3D pics as I upload 2D pics.

There are several fantastic artists here at dA & I hope to one day be in the running with them, but I have several hindrances that I allow to keep me from drawing. I also have a poetic wife, who wants me to use my abilities to make myself & the kids happy.

I actually sit down & showed my 8 year old daughter how to draw a simple alligator & you'd thought she'd never seen me draw before. I started thinking then, "It's time, Jeff! Start drawing again."

My intention is too put my scanner/printer back in my computer this weekend & get started drawing as well. I need your help to improve my drawing & coloring. I don't need criticism, though. I need encouragement & understanding. This is where you come in. I am not perfect. I can not draw comics or cartoons. My stuff is simple. I want to improve. I want to be able to help my kids improve.

Here's hoping 2012 is awesome...before the Mayan calendar gets us all & we have a good laugh just like Y2K.
